One Day Snorkel Course – Training & Assessment
This one-day course provides the knowledge and practical skills required to complete your snorkel qualification.

Morning session – Delivered at Peninsula Outdoors, the course begins with snorkelling theory covering equipment use, safety procedures, environmental awareness, and dive planning.

First practical session – Conducted in our purpose-built dive training pool, you will develop core skills including mask clearing, snorkel use, buoyancy control, surface dives, buddy procedures, and emergency responses.

Afternoon session – Following lunch, participants will complete a series of open-water snorkel dives from local piers on the Mornington Peninsula. Locations are selected on the day based on the most suitable conditions and will include practical assessments of your skills in an open-water environment.
